Jim Grim

Nobody knows exactly where Jim Grim came from. Some say he rode in from the Ozarks on a stormy Tuesday. Some say he just appeared one day at the end of a dirt road, standing next to a smoking barrel and a crate of the hottest peppers anyone had ever seen. Either way, Jim Grim arrived — and the hot sauce world was never quite the same.

Jim Grim is not a man of half measures. Where others reach for a pinch, Jim reaches for a fistful. Where others simmer, Jim scorches. His philosophy is simple: if it doesn't make your eyes water and your soul question its choices, it isn't done yet.

Despite the name — and the reputation — Jim Grim has a wicked sense of humor. He's the first to laugh when someone underestimates his sauce, and the last to apologize for it. He runs his pepper operation out of a converted smokehouse deep in the Tennessee backwoods, where the smoke never quite clears and the heat never quite lets up.

Tennessee Bob met Jim Grim at midnight at a roadside diner. Jim slid a mason jar across the counter without a word. Bob took one taste and immediately started writing the label. Some partnerships don't need much discussion.

Jim Grim's sauce isn't for the faint of heart. It's for the brave, the bold, and the beautifully reckless.
