Lady Fingers Cheesy Shrimp and Grits
A bold Southern classic with a Tennessee Bob twist — creamy, cheesy grits loaded with tender shrimp, finished with fresh herbs, a buttery melt, and a drizzle of Lady Fingers Hot Sauce. Smooth, savory, and just the right kind of wild.

Ingredients
For the Cheesy Grits
- 2 cups water
- 1/2 cup grits
- 1 tsp salt
- White cheese sauce (Moe's cheese sauce recommended)
For the Shrimp
- 1 lb raw shrimp, peeled and deveined (Ecuador brand recommended)
Toppings
- 1 tsp butter (for garnish)
- Fresh chopped green onions
- Fresh chopped cilantro
- Lady Fingers Hot Sauce 🌶️ (to taste)
Instructions
Step 1: Cook the Grits
Bring 2 cups of water to a boil. Add salt, then slowly stir in the grits. Reduce heat and cook, stirring occasionally, until thick and creamy (about 5–7 minutes). Stir in white cheese sauce until smooth and fully combined.
Step 2: Cook the Shrimp
Thaw shrimp if frozen. In a skillet over medium heat, cook shrimp for 2–3 minutes per side until pink and fully cooked through.
Step 3: Bring It All Together
Mix shrimp into the cheesy grits or serve them right on top. Add a small pat of butter while hot so it melts in. Garnish with fresh green onions and cilantro. Drizzle generously with Lady Fingers Hot Sauce — add more after serving to match your heat level. 🔥
Tennessee Bob's Tip
"Finish it with butter and heat — that's how you make folks come back for seconds… and thirds."
