TY SAUCE

Ty comes from Thailand and his sauce is totally inspired by the Far East. His contribution to the lineup has the heat of the Thai peppers, curry, cumin, toasted sesame oil, and lots of turmeric. This Ecuadorian version of the classic Thai sauce is super healthy, tangy and fiery! The rich spices come together perfectly with fresh watermelon and apple cider vinegar. There is nothing mild about this sauce. Just like the Ty himself, this sauce is mad with flavor, pizzazz, and heat.

INGREDIENTS: WATER, APPLE CIDER VINEGAR, WATERMELON, THAI CHILI PEPPERS, SALT, TOASTED SESAME OIL, GARLIC POWDER, DRIED TURMERIC POWDER, THYME, CURRY POWDER, XANTHAN GUM, CUMIN
Thai Chilis- 50,000 to 100,000

Ty

Ty a Thai pepper. He is small and fiery. They call him an ornamental pepper, but he is not pretty like an ornament and he is definitely mental. He can really get Jim Grim’s goat. Ty thinks he is hotter, but that is not the case. Jim is still the hottest in the land. Ty is always running around speaking some language noone understands, exceptTennesse Bob’s son, Ethanito. They seem to understand each other.
Ty is lean, short and the most spastic of all The Pepper People. He came here via a ship along the Ecuadorain coast straight from the Far East, but his story is that he worked on a cargo ship for many years. After that he took a wife, settled in Thailand and took up rice farming and fishing in 2001. In 2004 an earthquake, the largest one ever registered (it shook the whole earth), created a Tsunami that wiped out is home, family and land. Totally shattered, he took to the seas again after everything and everyone he loved was literally washed away. The only reason we know this is he always keeps a leather bag in his cabin with two pictures and a newspaper article under his bed. Many believe he must have jumped ship along the way, ending his past life. He is tormented from his past life more tan most of the Pepper People and displays it most of the time. He is easily calmed when Ethanito starts huming or Rico is playing the guitar.
If heat is equivalent to attitude Ty is not one to be reckoned with, like ole Jim Grim. He is as mean as a Cobra and can sting like a Scorpion. His martial art skills leave Pablo at a loss despite Pablo’s strength. He is the most agile and feisty of all the Rancheros. He has a secret love for Ma and only Ethanito knows. It’s another long story, one to be told around the fire!
